  • • Customer responsibilities and access requirements
  • • Maintenance and support provisions

4. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • • Provide accurate information about your security needs and property
  • • Ensure safe and reasonable access to installation locations
  • • Notify us of any changes to your property or security requirements
  • • Use security systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • • Maintain electrical power and internet connectivity as required
  • • Report system issues or malfunctions promptly

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms include:

  • • Installation fees are due upon completion of work
  • • Service fees are due according to the agreed schedule
  • • Late payments may incur additional charges
  • • We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment
  • • Returned check fees may apply for insufficient funds

6. Warranties and Guarantees

We provide warranties as follows:

  • • Installation workmanship warranty for one year
  • • Equipment warranties per manufacturer specifications
  • • Service guarantee for professional installation and support
  • • Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period
  • • Warranties do not cover damage from misuse or external factors

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide reliable security services, our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for losses due to equipment failure, power outages, internet disruptions, or other factors beyond our control. Security systems are designed to reduce risk but cannot guarantee prevention of all security incidents.

8. Emergency Services

For emergency services, we will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly. However, response times may vary based on weather, traffic, technician availability, and other factors. Emergency service fees may apply for after-hours calls.

9. Intellectual Property

Our system designs, configurations, and technical documentation remain our intellectual property. Customers receive a license to use installed systems but may not reproduce or distribute our proprietary designs or software.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of your security arrangements. Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. We may access your property for installation, maintenance, and service purposes as authorized.

11. Service Termination

Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice:

  • • Customer may cancel services with 30 days written notice
  • • We may terminate services for non-payment or breach of terms
  • • Equipment ownership depends on service agreement terms
  • • Final payment is due upon service termination

12. Virginia State Law

These terms are governed by Virginia state law. We are licensed by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS# 11-3283) and comply with all applicable Virginia regulations for private security services.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration as specified in individual service agreements.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms. Significant changes will be communicated directly to customers.
